Linear Day

Materials: Black Sharpie Marker, Arches Paper, Newsprint Board, Elmer’s Glue

My linear day drawing is based on typical college day, It has symmetrical elements in the stairs, with repetitive diagonal lines in most of the pages. Each page representing a different place or time but keeping its continuity with a consistent line leading from each page to the next. The most prevalent attribute seems to be duality of the perspective in stairs and vertical lines. The main gripe I have with it was the Arches paper would bleed the marker and the covers open corners could have been closer together. This project is relevant to the Digital Media and Animation major as constructing a design and recreating it while demonstrating newfound focus on the design principals.
